TRADITIONAL WRESTLING COMPETITION HELD AT TAVANTOLGOI

Traditional wrestling commemorative competition was held on the occasions of the 10th anniversary of Mongolian first coal export by Tavantolgoi company and the 93th anniversary of mining industry in Mongolia. The competition was dedicated to the National Miners Day as well.

Competition participants included 48 wrestlers with titles awarded by provinces and towns.  At the final round,junior falcon Y. Gansukh, a native of Noyon sum, Southgobi province won the championship, the town elephant G. Enkh-Erdene ranked the second place and the province falcon Amar-Amgalan won the third place and were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals, respectively. 

 

 

Province falcon Yu. Tegshjargal, Tavantolgoi company wrestler, the province falcon G. Enkhsukh, a native of Tsenhermandal sum, Khentii province, and the town elephant  N. Bilegtkhuu, a native of Luus sum, Middlegobi province filled the next three places in the competition.
